KINGS of THRACE, Macedonian. Lysimachos. 305-281 BC. AR Tetradrachm (33.5mm, 17.13 g, 12h). Uncertain mint. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, transverse spear in background; to inner left, ΘE monogram above monogram-in-circle. Thompson –; Müller 315; HGC 3, 1750 (for type); SNG Berry 408 (Byzantion). Lightly toned, underlying luster, double struck and minor die breaks on obverse. Near EF. Rare.
